5 Things about Uncle Dave

1. Not that this is unknown, but we still eat the very same thing for dinner every Sunday. It has gotten to the point where my boys will now rate the gravy. They are very spoiled, but I love that I have passed that tradition on to them. Sunday is just not the same with out Sunday Dinner.

2. Speaking of traditions, I really love the holiday traditions that we have. What you may not know is that we started a tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas to a family of a couple in our ward every year. We have been doing it for about 8 years.

3. Now for the embarrassing things. All of you know how I feel about BYU and the football team. I even asked the Stake Patriarch if I should try and walk on to the team when I was a freshman. I even went so far as to go to the football office and get information about when the tryouts were going to take place.

4. I once fainted in a surgical suite when I was watching my dad do surgery. It was not the first time I had gone into the operating room, on this occasion I was watching them work on a boy who had been hit in the eye, and they were fiddling around with the eye and the socket and I went over like rock.

5. I have a list of things that I want to do in my life. There are lots of things on the list that I will not go into, but I will tell you that when I was able to scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, I was able to cross one of the things off. Some things will not be done, but others I am still working on.

Well, that is the list. If I had more time, I could probably find other things to add, but for now, lets tag Aunt Keri, Elizabeth, and Andrew.

I would have bought your jersey if you were on the BYU football team. In fact I'd probably frame it and tell everyone that it was your jersey.
