So as you all know (or didn't know) I'm playing football for our school team. I've been busting my butt all summer and the first couple weeks of school. I hadn't been enjoying it too much because it was taking up a lot of my time. But yesterday changed my whole attitude toward the game of football. We had our first real scrimmage against other teams. It was a four-way scrimmage so we got the oppurtunity to kick 3 other schools butts. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! In the first game we started with the ball against a brand new high school and they really weren't very good. On the first drive they call a screen pass to my side (which means i get the ball). So I take my one step out and come back for the ball. The blocks i got were amazing and all i had to do was run straight into the endzone for a 30 yard touchdown!!!! That was all i did on offense really but our running back had some nice runs for td's as well. Then on defense i play linebacker, and the 3 foot qb throws the ball right to me, i snatch it out of the air, say thank you to the qb as i run by, and it's a pick. (okay, i actually didn't say thanks to the qb and he's not really 3 feet tall.) so that was pretty exciting. in our next game we did the same screen play and the result was the exact same!!! our defense didn't give up one touchdown in any of the 3 games and our offense scored a total of 5!!!! thought i might just tell ya all!!! love ya!!!
This is John's roommate Leroy! I love this man! He is so nice to me and always treats me like I am part of his family. He always asks me if I watched the BYU games and what I thought of them. I like to go in there and gives these guys some laughs!
