The week of Play

Well, for all you out there, we have had a great Christmas and miss you all very much. We tried to convince Uncle Mark and Thomas to come up to the Las Vegas Bowl for a quick day, but we were unsuccessful. Too bad, it was an awesome game!!!

That game will go down in BYU history as one of the great wins. How many ways is BYU going to find to pull out wins. I mean 4th and 18, Harline is open, and now Eathyn Manumaleuna sticks up a big paw and alters the kick just enough. Wow, I know the roof would have blown off the top of the stadium if it had had one. It was sooooo cool to see the ucla players and fans. They were in a state of shock. They had become more and more cocky as the second half had proceeded. They were a very good team, and we played a horrible game, but part of that was the defense that ucla put on the field. They played us well. It was with great satisfaction that we drove home that night.

We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a fun one. The gift of choice seems to be the new Rock Band video game. That is the one where you have to play the guitar, drums, and sing for scores. With 3 able to play at once, it helps with the turns.

Hope you all have a safe and fun New Years. We love and miss all of you so much. It has been a wild ride this summer and fall, and I for one am a little glad to see it behind us. I am ready for a little piece and quiet. You are the best family in the world.

Uncle Dave

Did you hear that one reason was that he was waiting for the time out right before, so he didn't give it everything he had? I don't know if it is true though! Nice picture Thomas! Congrats!
