New School Year

It seems as though everyone has gotten lax on posting on the family blog. Well, today is the start of a new school year for the BC Nilsens. Chris is headed to 8th grade, Brad is a JR. and David is starting a new program to train him for a job.

We did get David's Patriarchal Blessing last week. It was a little different from the ones that you normally have because it was David. The promises were wonderful as usual, but the Patriarch had a footnote that said that there were many of the blessings that would not be fulfilled until the next life. His blessings talked a lot about marriage, family, and children.

Brad is back to playing soccer and will be all over the field as far a positions go. His coach will use him as a utility player. Chris is still doing football, but the coach hasn't seen his talent shine through yet. We told him to just keep working hard and good things will happen.

Hope all is well with all of you. Talk to you soon.

Uncle Dave

today is our first day of school. I can't believe we have a first day of high school, jr. high, and elementary school all in the same year.

Janet might need a little extra emotional support today. :-)

Glad to hear you're all doing well. Does Brad play HS soccer in the Fall? Our boys play in the spring and the girls play in the Fall. Just wondering.
